The Rosemary House opened its doors in 1968 with some sparse inventory, handmade crafts, and items from the garden all lovingly placed on metal shelving units ordered from the Sears and Roebuck Catalog and assembled by dear old dad.   As we celebrate out 50th year we would love for you to share your memories, both old and new, of visiting The Rosemary House.  You can read more about our journey in our Flashback Blog

Love the Rosemary House & dream of attending one of your wonderful teas, sadly I live several states away but you never know...perhaps one day

We hope so to Karen!

Love your website. So nice to read about the niceties of life and enjoy them! Wish we had quaint teashops where I live in SC, but we do not. I think there are some in Charleston, but that's across the state from where I live. Thank you for all you do! Blessings to you all!

Loved those early years at The Rosemary House! Lots of wonderful memories. I remember Chester sleeping under the desk in the front room. I am convinced that The Rosemary House Wedding Rice is the secret to a long and happy marriage! I have been visiting this charming shop in downtown Mechanicsburg since my high school days. There is always something new to discover.

Many years ago I was at a luncheon with Hildegard Peplau (Bertha Repperts sister) and when I told her I lived near Mechanicsburg, she asked if I knew Rosemary House and I said I did know a House family but not a Rosemary, she very kindly said no dear it’s a shop. I’m told she repeated the story many times and one I’ll always remember with a giggle. Wishing you fifty more years of bringing joy and inspiration !

Thank you for the warm wish Marcie, how lucky you were to meet Aunt Hilda!

This wonderfully unique shop has always captured my imagination and has always been a go-to for me for herbs and ideas on how to use them. I've always enjoyed Susanna's classes and have found them to be helpful and educational. And the fairy Festival each year has always had a special place in my heart. I was fortunate enough to be face painter there for several years. I will keep coming back for more!

I have enjoyed bringing my daughters to the fairy festival every year and have also taken some classes with my mom. Love this sweet place 🙂

Such a blessing to have met all of the Repperts and Brill's over the years! I have learned so much from you all, but particularly your Mom and your Dad! May there be at least 50 more years of The Rosemary House!

I've been coming here since I was just a teen. It was always the cool shop in Mechanicsburg. So glad it is still there. Fond memories.
